Sedation dentistry removes the layer of fear and anxiety of dental procedures to receive the care that you have putting off.

Sedation dentistry is for the anxious, fearful or very busy patient. The sedation technique completely removes all feelings of anxiety and apprehension. If you fear the dentist, you are not alone! You can finally put all your dental anxieties aside in our office.
*This treatment has an amnesic effect and also a compression of time effect; meaning there is little or no memory of your visit and a two hour appointment seems like a one hour appointment. We can correct years of embarrassing problems in as little as one or tow appointments. With sedation dentistry, you can be totally relaxed and receive the smile you have always dreamed.
Who can have Sedation?
Sedation is most appropriate for people with a real fear or anxiety that is preventing them from going to the dentist. Sedation dentistry may also be appropriate for people who:
-Have a low pain threshold.
-Can’t sit still in the dentist’s chair.
-Have very sensitive teeth.
-Have a bad gag reflex.
-Need a large amount of dental work completed.
We offer two forms of sedation dentistry; Oral sedation and IV sedation.
Oral Sedation
For minimal sedation, you will take a pill. This pill will make you drowsy, although you’ll still be awake.
IV Sedation
You receive the sedative drug through a vein, so it goes to work more quickly.
We have successfully treated patients who say:
"I'm afraid of needles and shots."
"I've had bad experiences before."
"It's been so long, I'm afraid it's too late for me."
"I have a bad gag reflex that prevents me from having dental work done."
"I'm so busy with my job traveling I don't have time to come in for three or four appointments."
"I just can't seem to get numb."
"I don't like the noise of the drill and the smell of a dental office."
"I'm so embarrassed to open my mouth because of years of neglect."
