They provide advanced techniques combined with a gentle touch. All doctors have been trained with some of the world's most prominent cosmetic, implant, sedation and restorative dental specialists.
Dr. Bridenstine and Dr. Boldry have established themselves and are known as some of the leading and most experienced cosmetic and restorative dentists in the Shawnee Mission area.
Additionally, our staff attends annual seminars to learn how to best serve our patients in the most friendly, effecient and effective manner possible.
Dr. Kelly Bridenstine
Dr. Bridenstine graduated from Brigham Young University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then was accepted to the number one ranked dental school in the nation; The University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, (DDS) degree in 1987. He then completed a Post-Doctorate one-year residency in Hospital Dentistry at the Long Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, (DOCS), the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Academy of LDS Dentists and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Bridenstine completed in 2009 the two-year Dr. Gordon Christensen Mentorship at the Scottsdale Center For Dentistry. Dr. Bridenstine received enhanced, up-to-date, cutting-edge training in the newest techniques and technology in dentistry. Disciplines covered were: Oral surgery, periodontal surgery, dental implantology, cosmetic and esthetic dentistry, pharmacology, dental materials and technology, full-mouth rehabilitation techniques, occulusion, TMJ treatment, oral pathology, myofacial pain control and new technology and techniques in restorative and cosmetic bonding.
Dr. Bridenstine is one of only 300 dentists world-wide selected to be a product evaluator for the Clinicians Report Foundation; a non-for-profit organization where doctors test the newest and most cutting edge dental products, equipment and techniques. The results are published in the Clinicians Report monthly newsletter.
In 2009 the Kansas Dental Board approved a Level I Anesthesia License to Dr. Bridenstine. This license allows Dr. Bridenstine to administer intravenous and oral conscious sedation medication to his patients. Dr. Bridenstine successfully completed his IV sedation training at the prestigious post-doctorate sedation program at the USC College of Dentistry in California.
Dr. Bridenstine is one of Kansas City’s Extreme Makeover Cosmetic Dentists. His office has been chosen since 2004 up to the present to be the official cosmetic dental office for the Mrs. Kansas, Mrs. Missouri and the Mrs. Nebraska Beauty Pageants representing the Mrs. America Pageants and Mrs. United States Pageants.
He has also been selected to be a pageant judge since 2004 for the Mrs. Kansas, Mrs. Missouri and Mrs. Nebraska Beauty Pageants along with the Miss Kansas Teen Pageant. The winners and runner-ups receive complimentary in-house teeth whitening and the winners receive a one full year of gratis general dentistry and a generous courtesy adjustment for any cosmetic smile makeover.
Dr. Bridenstine has worked with the cruise line Holland America to provide gratis dental services in the ship’s dental clinics to the Filipino and Indonesian crew members and staff. He donates his time, money and dental services in the ship’s clinic to provide modern, high-tech dental care to the ship’s crew members and staff who would never in their own countries receive proper and basic dental care.
Dr. Bridenstine, his staff along with some local dental specialists starting in 2010 will provide “Dentistry From the Heart” day to the local residents in the community one day per year. Dr. Bridenstine has hosted and sponsored luncheons for local and national celebrities and beauty pageant winners. He has also been invited by dental marketing and consulting companies to be a speaker and consultant nationally to other dentists at various dental seminars across the nation.
He is happily married to his wife Sherrie and they are the parents of three beautiful daughters. His hobbies and interests include baseball, football, scuba diving, photography, travel, theater and community and church service. Best of all he enjoys being a dad and a husband and spending time with his family.
Dr. Bridenstine’s first priority is always the patient’s total comfort and peace of mind. He offers a wide variety of dental services, but always in the context of making sure that each patient feels relaxed, informed and understood. When patients come to his office, he and his staff will make sure there will be no judgments, no lectures and virtually no pain.
Dr. Tracy L. Boldry
Dr. Boldry is a 1989 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. In 1992 she received a Speciailty Degree in Prosthodontics followed by a Masters in Oral Biology and Maxillofacial Prosthetics Certificate in 1993 from UMKC School of Dentistry. She is now practicing as a licensed, board certified prosthodontist, (full-mouth reconstruction, dentures and dental implant specialist). She also offers many cosmetic dental services. She is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Johnson County Dental Society and The Heartland Dental Implant Society.
Dr. Boldry is married and has three children. Her hobbies and interests include horseback riding, drawing, painting, stain glass, exercise and cycling.
