Rachel Murphy
I
am an avid reader and love self-discovery and self-improvement. I have
walked across fire; enjoy rock climbing and enjoy facing my fears in a
spectacular way. I am always looking for a new challenge and the next
journey to become the pages of my life.
My
husband, Don, and I are parents to four children Tyler 17, KC’lynn 14
and Ari and Lizzie 11. I am actively involved in many wonderful
charities that are about making our great community better. No
matter if it is an hour, a day, a week or lifetime, we all have the
power with in us to make our world better by making a difference and
giving back. I am conservative in my political views and appreciative
of the freedoms we have in
America. I support
and am grateful for the men and woman who are fighting today to keep
those freedoms alive for my family and others. As Mrs. Kansas United
States 2008 I am enjoying the opportunity that I have had to be in
commercials. I have also enjoyed reaching out to so many wonderful
organizations and charities. l look forward to a continued year of
appearances and presentations as I serve in our great state of
Kansas.

the new director of the Mrs. Kansas United States Pageant, I will do
everything in my power to make the pageant a success for all of the
contestants and sponsors involved. I will be available to every contestant to make this one of the most memorable times of their lives.
